The major stages in our work process are:
Needs Analysis. An in-depth needs analysis to determine business and functional requirements. We profile the target user(s) on the site, and determine typical usage scenarios and key tasks they are likely to perform.
User Experience Design. this may include different creative approaches to the user interface or "look and feel," as well as different structural approaches to navigation and
Information Architecture). Initial creative concepts are then flushed out through an interactive prototype of key screens and flows.
User Research. As budget allows, one or more rounds of user research can be conducted on the interactive prototype, and feedback incorporated into the final development effort. User research can be repeated just prior to going live, to ensure that all content is easy to navigate, and any kinks are worked out.
Content Production. This includes production of all site elements (or "assets"), including screen text, page templates and graphics, as well as video, photography, audio, Flash, and other multimedia. We produce the elements, or coordinate with you and your resources responsible for producing them. We then assemble all the elements into a media database.
Development. We develop our sites to run on Windows 2003 Server, using IIS 6.0, and ASP.NET. Our custom content management tools facilitate ongoing site maintenance by non-technical personnel. A Web-based administrative portal can be made available to your staff members who need to make updates to site content.
Live Site Maintenance. we can arrange for hosting and maintain your site for you, or provide cutover support to allow you to maintain it yourself internally.
